Hidden Costs Breakdown

I love the simplicity of just clicking a button to start a new video chat. It's great for chatting with clients because nobody has to install anything. It's awesome — in theory! In practice the constant connectivity and audio problems make it impossible to use.

2

Connectivity and Audio Quality Issues

medium support

Multiple users report persistent connectivity and audio problems that degrade the meeting experience. These issues may require users to invest in better network infrastructure, audio equipment, or alternative solutions.

It could not find my microphone. Suggestions welcome.

3

Limited Collaboration Features on Tablets

low addon

Google Meet lacks robust tablet-optimized features for interactive collaboration, including simultaneous whiteboard and video views. Teams relying on tablets for meetings may need to invest in supplementary tools.

Want to host a genuinely interactive lesson or meeting, keeping a whiteboard and video of all participants visible at once? Too bad—neither platform can do it on tablets, where all the potential for true mobile collaboration withers behind inflexible layouts and missing features.
