Tidio Pricing in 2026: The Video Breakdown
The ladders behind the pricing slider, what a Lyro resolution actually costs, and the exchange where Tidio's own AI agent confirms both · 3 min 48 sec
What's in it
Tidio's plan cards show $29 and “from $59.” The real ladders live behind a volume slider, and there are two of them: human support conversations on one meter, Lyro AI conversations on another. They stack.
Rather than take the rate card's word for it, we opened the chat widget on tidio.com — which Tidio runs on Lyro itself — and asked the agent what it costs. It returned the complete ladder, and it matches the pricing data we extracted line for line. Then we asked the question that decides the bill: does Lyro charge for conversations it cannot resolve? Both answers are in the video, unedited.
The load-bearing finding is the billing unit. Lyro is billed per conversation it replies to, not per conversation it resolves — so the honest unit cost is $0.70 divided by the resolution rate. Tidio publishes three different ones.

The two numbers on the card
Tidio advertises $29 and “from $59.” Neither is what most teams end up paying.
- 00:22
Two ladders, not one price list
Support and Lyro are billed separately and stack. Growth alone is seven volume steps, $59 at 250 conversations up to $349 at 2,000 — 5.9× the advertised entry.

Asking Lyro what Lyro costs
The unedited exchange with Tidio's own production AI agent on tidio.com. It returns the full Lyro ladder — matching our extracted pricing data line for line — and confirms that conversations it fails to resolve still count against your quota.

$0.70 buys a reply, not an answer
Cost per actual resolution at each of the three resolution rates Tidio publishes: $1.04, $1.27 and $1.40, against Intercom Fin at $0.99. Then the comparison that matters more — $6.73 for a human.

Read the Tidio pricing guide →How this was built
- Pricing: read on 7 August 2026 from the pricing data that drives tidio.com/pricing itself — the values behind the volume slider, not the plan cards. Every per-unit figure is computed from those numbers rather than estimated.
- Lyro footage: Tidio's own production Lyro agent, recorded on tidio.com on 11 August 2026. Unscripted and unedited apart from trimming waits.
- Billing rules: verified against Tidio's Help Center article The Lyro AI agent limit (updated 17 June 2026), not just against what the agent told us. Anything the agent claimed that Tidio's documentation does not confirm is not stated as fact here.
- Comparison: Intercom Fin's $0.99 per resolution is its published list rate. The $6.73 per human-handled conversation is Tidio's own figure, from its savings calculator.
- Editorial standard: Tidio paid for this piece to be produced. It did not review it before publication, and CostBench publishes corrections free, for anyone, forever.
